Activities Subcommittee
This committee plans and carries out activities such as picnics and dances to spark interest and encourage participation and support. Fundraisers are important as it generates money to help carry the message of recovery, while welcoming activities that motivate attendance by increasing awareness of how the fellowship helps us as members in our personal recovery.
Convention Subcommittee
This committee is responsible for, but not limited to, organizing the yearly area convention.

Hospitals & Institutions Subcommittee
This committee is responsible for the express purpose of carrying the NA message of recovery to men and women “housed” in correctional institutions, hospitals, and recovery houses.
A completed background check form is required to speak in Bergen County jails.
We have commitments ready to open (however need people to fill).
HNI subcommittee meets the 1st Friday and 3rd Wednesday each month and New Bridge Medical Center at 7:30.
Literature Review Subcommittee
This committee is responsible for the review and development of Narcotics Anonymous Literature at the Area level.
Meeting List Subcommittee
This is a sub-committee, responsible for having Bergen Area NA meetings listed, by day and time, printed and distributed free of charge through the Literature Committee
Public Relations Subcommittee
This committee is responsible for informing the public of the existence, location and purpose of Narcotics Anonymous with special emphasis on the addict who still suffers.
Website Subcommittee
In accordance with Narcotic Anonymous’ primary purpose of carrying the message to the addict that still suffers, this committee provides easily accessible information regarding the Bergen County Area of Narcotics Anonymous.
Workshop Subcommittee
This committee is responsible for holding at least one open forum workshop a month during the regular BASC meeting.
